The following article “A Long Garden Legacy” was prepared for The National Garden Clubs, Inc.  It accompanied an educational display called “The Blue Ribbon Gardens of Loula Long Combs.”  The display itself won a blue ribbon at an official flower show sponsored by the Santa Fe Trail Garden Club, fall 2009.  The display then spent the Spring of 2010 at Longview Farm Elementary School.  This educational display is available for loan at historical and/or garden related events. (see Programs button in menu at the left).

Hallmark Shoes Puzzle
Hallmark Shoes Puzzle

Several years ago Hallmark made a puzzle of the Vintage Nouveau – Fashions From the Past shoe collection for their Springbok line.  Most of the shoes they selected were 1920’s through 1970’s vintage.  The shoes made for a fun and colorful puzzle!
